Phlebotomy Techniques

In Phlebotomy Techniques, students develop the skills required to perform successful blood collection techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture. The highlight of this course is a 45-hour clinical experience that provides students the opportunity to apply the skills they learned in the classroom.

Enrollment Requirements: High School/GED/HSED completion or higher degree required along with Compass test scores of: Pre-Alg 55, Reading 80 & Writing 70 & concurrent enrollment in Phlebotomy Techniques 10513100. Both classes must be entered together for the same semester.
