Internship Development & Community Partnerships

Focus on preparing students for the internship experience through the identification of career goals and objectives in order to select an internship site. Topics include placement requirements and policies, resumes, interviewing, letters of application, and the role and issues of professional practice. Prerequisite: completion of one semester in the Recreation Program.

Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: Reserved for Recreation Management program students who have completed at least one semester of core courses

Students have until the day before the class starts to register for online, accelerated and short-term classes. After that point, students must obtain permission from the instructor to register and will have until the last date to enroll to use the permission granted to register.
